Editorial Workflow
The editorial workflow of the Indo Global Journal of Commerce and Economics (IGJCE) is a structured, transparent, and ethics-driven process that guides every submitted manuscript from initial receipt through peer review to final publication. Throughout the process, the journal follows double-blind peer review, maintains confidentiality, ensures publication ethics, and adheres to transparency and editorial independence.
Phase 1 — Initial Review
Manuscript Submission
Author submits the manuscript through the online submission system.
Initial Screening
Editorial Office checks the manuscript for scope, format, plagiarism, and basic quality.
Assignment to Editor
The Editor-in-Chief assigns the manuscript to an Associate Editor.
Editorial Assessment
Associate Editor evaluates the manuscript for suitability and relevance.
Reviewer Selection
Associate Editor invites independent, expert reviewers (double-blind review).
Phase 2 — Peer Review & Decision
Peer Review
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript and submit their reports and recommendations.
Editorial Evaluation
Associate Editor evaluates reviewers' comments and makes a recommendation.
Decision by Editor-in-Chief
Editor-in-Chief reviews the recommendation and makes the final decision.
Decision Communication
Decision (Accept / Minor Revise / Major Revise / Reject) is communicated to the author.
Revision by Author
Author revises the manuscript as per comments and submits the revised version.
Phase 3 — Production & Publication
Final Evaluation
Associate Editor / Reviewers re-check the revised manuscript (if required).
Final Decision
Editor-in-Chief gives the final acceptance decision.
Production & Publication
Manuscript is copyedited, typeset, proofread, and published online with DOI.
Indexing & Dissemination
Published article is indexed in databases and disseminated worldwide.
Post-Publication
Article is accessible to readers. Corrections/Retractions (if any) are handled as per policy.
