The journal investigates all credible concerns in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and internationally accepted editorial standards.

• Fabrication of data, results, or findings.
• Falsification or manipulation of research data, images, or methodology.
• Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or inappropriate text recycling.
• Duplicate submission or duplicate publication.
• Undisclosed conflicts of interest.
• Violations of ethical standards in human or animal research.
• Unauthorised use of copyrighted material.
• Misrepresentation of authorship or contributor roles.

When a credible allegation is received, the Editorial Office will assess the concern, seek a response from the authors, and where necessary escalate to the Editor-in-Chief or relevant institutional authorities. All investigations are conducted fairly, confidentially, and in accordance with COPE recommendations.

• Rejection of the submitted manuscript.
• Retraction or correction of a published article.
• Issuance of an Expression of Concern.
• Notification of the authors' affiliated institution(s) or funding bodies.
• Restriction of future submissions from the authors involved.
