Author Rights
The Litera Global Journal of Social Science (LGJSS) is committed to protecting authors’ intellectual property rights while promoting the widest possible dissemination of scholarly research. The journal follows internationally recognized publishing standards and supports authors in retaining ownership of their research while ensuring its global accessibility through Open Access publishing.
Authors Publishing in LGJSS Have the Right To:
- Retain the copyright of their published articles.
- Receive full acknowledgment and attribution for their scholarly work.
- Reuse their published articles in books, book chapters, theses, dissertations, teaching materials, lectures, presentations, and future scholarly works, provided the original publication in LGJSS is properly cited.
- Deposit and share the published version of their article on personal websites, institutional repositories, university repositories, and recognized scholarly platforms, with appropriate citation to the original publication in LGJSS.
- Share their published work with colleagues, students, researchers, and professional networks for educational and research purposes.
- Present and disseminate their research at conferences, seminars, workshops, and academic events with proper acknowledgment of the original publication.
- Request corrections to published articles when genuine errors are identified, in accordance with the journal's correction policy.
- Appeal editorial decisions and raise concerns regarding publication ethics through the journal's established editorial and ethical procedures.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for ensuring that:
- The submitted manuscript is original and does not infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of any individual or organization.
- All necessary permissions have been obtained for the use of copyrighted materials, including figures, tables, photographs, illustrations, software, datasets, and other third-party content.
- All listed authors have made significant scholarly contributions, approved the final version of the manuscript, and consented to its submission and publication.
- The original publication in LGJSS is properly acknowledged whenever the published work is reused, shared, or reproduced.
Licensing and Dissemination
All articles published in LGJSS are Open Access and distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting LGJSS a non-exclusive, worldwide license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, preserve, and disseminate the article in both print and electronic formats, including inclusion in indexing services, abstracting databases, digital repositories, and long-term preservation systems.
