Adherence to these guidelines improves the quality, credibility, transparency, and reproducibility of published research.

• Clearly state the research problem, objectives, research questions, hypotheses (where applicable), and the scholarly significance of the study.
• Provide a comprehensive description of the research design, methodology, sampling strategy, participant selection, data collection procedures, research instruments, analytical methods, and data interpretation processes sufficient to enable scholarly evaluation and, where appropriate, replication.
• Report findings honestly, accurately, objectively, and completely without fabrication, falsification, selective reporting, plagiarism, or inappropriate data manipulation.
• Present sufficient methodological detail to enable readers and reviewers to understand, evaluate, and verify the research process.
• Clearly describe all research instruments, questionnaires, interview schedules, observation protocols, archival sources, databases, software, analytical frameworks, and statistical or qualitative analysis tools used in the study, where applicable.
• Report statistical analyses appropriately, including sample size justification, sampling procedures, reliability and validity assessments, descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, significance levels, effect sizes, regression analyses, and other relevant analytical procedures where applicable.
• Present tables, figures, charts, diagrams, conceptual frameworks, maps, and supplementary materials clearly and consistently. All visual materials should be sequentially numbered, appropriately titled, and cited within the manuscript.
• Discuss the significance of the findings, compare results with relevant literature, acknowledge study limitations, and explain theoretical, practical, managerial, educational, or policy implications.
• Ensure that conclusions are fully supported by the reported evidence and avoid overstating the significance or generalizability of the findings.
• Properly acknowledge all published sources, datasets, funding agencies, institutional support, and third-party materials through accurate citations and references prepared in accordance with APA 7th Edition.
• Disclose all sources of research funding, financial support, sponsorship, and any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.
• Comply fully with the journal's policies on Publication Ethics, Research Integrity, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure, Data Availability, Conflict of Interest, Copyright, and Plagiarism Prevention.
• Include, where applicable, statements relating to ethical approval, informed consent, funding, author contributions, data availability, AI usage, acknowledgements, and conflicts of interest.

Where quantitative analysis is undertaken, authors should report statistical procedures transparently by including, where applicable:

• Confidence intervals

All statistical methods should be appropriate to the research objectives and clearly described in the methodology section.

LGJSS encourages authors to promote transparency and responsible research by:

• Providing sufficient methodological detail to facilitate scholarly evaluation.
• Sharing anonymized datasets, questionnaires, interview guides, coding frameworks, supplementary materials, or analytical files whenever ethically and legally permissible.
• Including a Data Availability Statement indicating where supporting data may be accessed or explaining any restrictions on data sharing.

Authors who use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for language editing, literature organization, data analysis, coding assistance, transcription, translation, image generation, or manuscript preparation must disclose such use in an AI Disclosure Statement. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, interpretation, integrity, and scholarly content of their manuscripts. AI systems cannot be listed as authors because they do not satisfy internationally accepted authorship criteria.

Authors should ensure that all research involving human participants, organizations, communities, educational institutions, or sensitive data complies with applicable institutional, national, and international ethical standards. Where applicable, manuscripts should include statements regarding:

During the preliminary editorial screening, every manuscript is evaluated for compliance with the journal’s reporting requirements. Manuscripts that do not provide adequate methodological detail, transparent reporting, appropriate statistical information (where applicable), or essential supporting documentation may be returned to the corresponding author for revision before entering the double-blind peer-review process. The Editorial Board may request additional methodological information, anonymized supporting data, reporting checklists, supplementary materials, or clarification at any stage of the editorial or peer-review process to ensure the integrity, transparency, and quality of published research.
