The Editorial Office may review citation patterns during the editorial and peer-review process. Where unusual or inappropriate citation practices are identified, authors may be asked to revise the reference list or provide justification for specific citations.

• Requesting revision of the manuscript.
• Rejecting the manuscript.
• Correcting or retracting a published article, where appropriate.
• Investigating repeated or serious violations in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies.
