The review process begins with an initial editorial screening and plagiarism assessment to verify the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s scope, compliance with submission guidelines, and adherence to ethical standards. Manuscripts that successfully pass this stage are assigned to a Handling Editor and subsequently sent to at least two independent experts for a double-blind peer review.

Considering the journal’s biannual publication schedule and the importance of obtaining thorough and constructive reviews, the average review and editorial evaluation period generally ranges from 60 to 120 days from the date of manuscript submission. The duration may vary depending on the complexity of the manuscript, reviewer availability, the number of revision rounds required, and the timeliness of authors’ responses.

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts well in advance of the publication cycle and respond promptly to reviewers’ comments to facilitate the review process.
