Editorial Independence and Integrity

Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of the academic merit, originality, significance, methodological rigour, and relevance of submitted manuscripts. Editorial decisions are free from commercial, institutional, personal, or political influence.

Fair and Unbiased Peer Review

IGJAMS follows a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process. Manuscripts are evaluated objectively without discrimination based on nationality, gender, ethnicity, religion, institutional affiliation, or personal beliefs. Reviewer and author identities remain confidential throughout the review process.

Transparency and Publication Ethics

The journal maintains clear policies regarding manuscript submission, peer review procedures, editorial processes, publication fees, copyright, open access policies, and publication timelines. Ethical policies are publicly available on the journal website.

Originality and Prevention of Research Misconduct

Authors must submit original and unpublished work. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, image manipulation, citation manipulation, and other forms of academic misconduct are strictly prohibited. All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before peer review.

Authorship and Contributorship

Authorship is restricted to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions to the research. All authors must approve the final manuscript and agree to its submission. Any changes in authorship after submission require the consent of all authors and approval from the Editor-in-Chief.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the objectivity of the publication process. Appropriate measures are taken to manage identified conflicts of interest.

Confidentiality

Editors and reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and associated materials. Information obtained during the review process shall not be disclosed or used for personal advantage.

Ethical Research and Data Integrity

Research involving human participants, surveys, interviews, personal data, or animals must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements. Authors are expected to present research findings honestly and maintain accurate records of data and methodologies.

Handling of Complaints and Allegations of Misconduct

IGJAMS has established procedures for handling complaints, appeals, and allegations of research or publication misconduct. All concerns are investigated fairly, objectively, confidentially, and in accordance with COPE recommendations.

Corrections, Retractions, and Preservation of the Scholarly Record

When significant errors or ethical concerns are identified, IGJAMS will publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as necessary to maintain the integrity and reliability of the scholarly record.
