Publication Ethics
Publication Ethics Statement
IGJAMS is committed to the highest standards of scholarly publishing integrity.
The Indo Global Journal of Applied Management Science (IGJAMS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and follows internationally recognised principles of scholarly publishing, including the recommendations and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the ethical standards generally expected of journals indexed in international databases.
IGJAMS is dedicated to promoting integrity, transparency, originality, and accountability in academic publishing. The journal expects all authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members to uphold ethical conduct throughout the submission, peer-review, and publication processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF AUTHORS
Authors must submit original and unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions should accurately present research findings and appropriately acknowledge the work of others through proper citation and referencing. Plagiarism, duplicate submission, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, image manipulation, and citation manipulation are strictly prohibited. Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest, sources of funding, and obtain necessary ethical approvals for research involving human participants or other regulated subjects.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF EDITORS
Editors are responsible for making fair, objective, and independent editorial decisions based solely on the scholarly merit, originality, significance, and relevance of submitted manuscripts. Editors shall maintain confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and ensure that manuscripts are evaluated through an unbiased peer-review process. Allegations of research or publication misconduct will be investigated in accordance with established ethical procedures and COPE recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF REVIEWERS
Reviewers contribute to the quality and integrity of scholarly publishing by providing objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts. Reviewers must maintain confidentiality, declare any potential conflicts of interest, and refrain from using unpublished information for personal or professional advantage. Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited and report any concerns regarding plagiarism, ethical issues, or research misconduct.
PEER REVIEW PROCESS
IGJAMS follows a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other. Manuscripts are evaluated solely on academic merit and are reviewed without discrimination based on nationality, gender, ethnicity, religion, institutional affiliation, or personal beliefs.
RESEARCH INTEGRITY AND ETHICAL STANDARDS
The journal is committed to preserving the integrity of the scholarly record. All manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection software and may undergo additional ethical evaluation when necessary. Where research misconduct is suspected, the journal reserves the right to request supporting documentation, original data, ethics approvals, or other evidence required to verify the authenticity and integrity of the submitted work.
CORRECTIONS AND RETRACTIONS
When significant errors, ethical concerns, or research misconduct are identified, IGJAMS may publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions to maintain the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of the scholarly record.
Our Core Commitments
Aligned with COPE
IGJAMS follows the guidelines and flowcharts published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for handling editorial decisions, misconduct allegations, authorship disputes, and corrections.
