The Metro Journal of Modern Science (MJMS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality, original, and ethically conducted research that advances knowledge across the social disciplines of modern science and related disciplines. The journal welcomes empirical, theoretical, conceptual, and interdisciplinary studies addressing contemporary social, economic, cultural, political, and technological challenges. Authors must ensure that manuscripts submitted to MJMS:

• Are original, authentic, and unpublished works that have not been published previously in any form.
• Have not been submitted simultaneously to another journal, conference, or publication.
• Do not contain plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, image manipulation, duplicate publication, or any other research misconduct.
• Properly acknowledge all sources through accurate citations and references.
• Obtain all necessary ethical approvals where applicable for research involving humans, animals, biological samples, hazardous materials, or regulated scientific investigations.
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, reproducibility, and transparency of scientific findings.
• Disclose all funding sources, sponsorships, and potential conflicts of interest.
• Comply with internationally accepted standards of publication ethics and responsible research.

MJMS follows internationally recognized principles of publication ethics and malpractice prevention and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity.

Authorship shall be limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to one or more of the following:

• Conceptualization of the study and research design.
• Development of the research methodology, theoretical framework, or analytical approach.
• Data collection, fieldwork, surveys, interviews, archival research, or other forms of evidence gathering.
• Data analysis, interpretation of findings, and validation of results.
• Drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
• Final approval of the version to be submitted and published.
• Acceptance of responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and ethical conduct of the research.
• All listed authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.
• Ghost authorship, honorary authorship, guest authorship, and gift authorship are strictly prohibited.
• Any changes to authorship after manuscript submission require the written consent of all authors and the approval of the Editor-in-Chief.

• Headings: Use a clear and consistent hierarchical heading structure.
• Tables and Figures: Number consecutively, provide concise titles, cite within the text, and submit figures in high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
• Quotations: Format direct quotations appropriately and provide accurate citations in accordance with APA 7th Edition guidelines.
• Appendices and Supplementary Materials: Include only when essential to support the manuscript.

• Number all tables and figures consecutively in the order in which they are first cited in the manuscript.
• Provide a clear, concise, and descriptive title for each table and figure.
• Ensure that every table and figure is cited within the main text.
• Submit figures, photographs, charts, graphs, maps, and illustrations in high-resolution format (minimum 300 dpi) suitable for publication.
• Avoid duplication of information between tables, figures, and the main text.
• Ensure that tables, graphs, diagrams, conceptual models, flowcharts, maps, infographics, and other visual materials are clear, accurate, and of publication quality.
• Where applicable, indicate the source of reproduced or adapted tables and figures and obtain the necessary copyright permissions.
• Authors are responsible for ensuring that all visual materials comply with ethical, legal, and copyright requirements.

Authors are encouraged to:

• Provide information regarding research data, datasets, survey instruments, interview protocols, questionnaires, coding frameworks, archival materials, or other supporting research materials, where applicable.
• Clearly describe the research methodology, study design, sampling procedures, data collection methods, and analytical techniques to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
• Retain original research data and supporting documentation for a reasonable period following publication to facilitate verification, if required.
• Share anonymized datasets, research instruments, supplementary materials, coding schemes, or other supporting files whenever ethically and legally permissible.
• Include a Data Availability Statement indicating the availability of the underlying data, any access restrictions, or the reasons why data cannot be shared, where applicable.

Authors using Artificial Intelligence tools for: language editing, grammar checking, coding assistance, literature review, image generation, statistical analysis, data processing, or manuscript preparation must disclose such use in an Acknowledgment or AI Disclosure Statement. Authors remain fully responsible for the scientific accuracy and originality of their work. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

MJMS follows a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process.

Authors retain copyright while granting MJMS the right of first publication. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material including figures, tables, photographs, datasets, illustrations, or other third-party content. Authors certify that:

• The manuscript is original.
• It has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
• All authors have contributed significantly.
• Ethical standards have been followed.
• Funding sources and conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
• Scientific data and conclusions are accurate.
• Any use of Artificial Intelligence has been disclosed.
