Digital Preservation Policy
MJMS is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published scholarly content. The journal implements digital preservation measures to ensure that published articles remain accessible, authentic, and usable over time, even in the event of technological changes or unforeseen disruptions.
To support long-term preservation, the journal:
- Maintains secure electronic backups of all published content and journal metadata.
- Preserves published articles in stable digital formats to ensure long-term accessibility.
- Maintains multiple copies of journal content in secure storage systems to reduce the risk of data loss.
- Assigns persistent identifiers (such as DOIs, where applicable) to facilitate reliable citation and long-term discoverability.
- Regularly monitors and updates its digital preservation practices in line with evolving publishing standards and technological developments.
- Seeks to participate in recognized digital preservation and archiving services, where available and applicable.
