Copyright Policy
The Metro Journal of Modern Science (MJMS) is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of authors while promoting the unrestricted dissemination of high-quality scholarly research. The journal supports open scholarly communication and follows internationally recognized publishing ethics and copyright practices.

Authors retain the copyright of their published articles. Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant MJMS a non-exclusive, worldwide license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, preserve, and communicate the work in print and electronic formats. This license also permits the journal to include the published article in indexing, abstracting, digital archiving, and bibliographic databases.
Author Responsibilities
By submitting a manuscript to MJMS, the corresponding author confirms on behalf of all co-authors that:
- The manuscript is original and has not been published previously, except where appropriately disclosed (e.g., thesis, dissertation, conference proceedings, or preprint).
- The manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal or publisher.
- The submission does not infringe the copyright, intellectual property rights, or proprietary rights of any third party.
- All necessary permissions have been obtained for the reproduction of copyrighted material, including figures, tables, photographs, illustrations, datasets, software, or other third-party content.
- All listed authors have made substantial scholarly contributions, approved the final version of the manuscript, and agreed to its submission and publication.
Third-Party Copyrighted Material
Authors are solely responsible for obtaining written permission to reproduce or adapt any copyrighted material used in their manuscripts. Appropriate acknowledgements, citations, and copyright notices must accompany all such materials in accordance with applicable copyright laws.
Open Access and Licensing
MJMS is an Open Access journal. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, which permits anyone to:
- Read, download, copy, print, and share the published work.
- Distribute, reproduce, translate, adapt, remix, and build upon the material in any medium or format.
- Use the work for both non-commercial and commercial purposes.
Users must provide appropriate credit to the original author(s), cite the original publication in MJMS, provide a link to the Creative Commons license, and indicate whether any modifications have been made.
Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are encouraged to archive and share the published version of their article on personal websites, institutional repositories, university repositories, research networking platforms, and other scholarly archives. The archived version should include the complete bibliographic citation and acknowledge MJMS as the original source of publication.
Copyright Infringement
Any allegation of copyright infringement, unauthorized reproduction, or misuse of published content will be investigated in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policies. Where appropriate, MJMS may publish corrections, issue expressions of concern, retract affected articles, or take other necessary actions to protect the integrity of the scholarly record.
