Open Access Policy
DOI Policy
Metro Journal of Modern Science assigns a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to each published article, where applicable, to ensure permanent identification, reliable citation, and long-term accessibility of scholarly content. The journal’s DOI policy includes the following principles:
- A unique DOI is assigned to each published article and remains permanently associated with that article.
- DOIs provide a persistent link to the official published version of the article, even if the website or URL changes.
- Authors should use the DOI when citing published articles to ensure accurate and consistent referencing.
- All article metadata associated with the DOI are maintained and updated, where necessary, to support discoverability and indexing.
- Corrections, retractions, or updates to published articles will be reflected in the associated DOI metadata in accordance with publishing best practices.
- Authors and readers should always refer to the DOI-linked Version of Record as the authoritative version of the published article.
By assigning DOIs, MJMS enhances the discoverability, accessibility, citation, and long-term preservation of published research in accordance with internationally recognized scholarly publishing standards.
